The local market is doing a soft launch for seven days. This began Tuesday afternoon. In this soft launch, each operator can only register a maximum of 750 customers in this period. Once the trial period is over, there will no longer be a limit on who can sign up with these onlinse sportsbooks. During this period, retail sports betting is still available. Meanwhile, the other operator, The Connecticut Lottery Corp., will partner with Sportech, an off-track betting operator to establish sports betting kiosks.
